Mother-in-law's fried chicken

For quite some time, my husband has asked me to learn to make fried chicken like his mom. My sweet MIL is so humble, she tells me its just fried chicken. But its not "just" fried chicken, its some of the best I've had. (Don't tell my grandmas I said that, ok?)
