This belongs in my house

I had a shopping lunch - solo today. And ran over to Juliana Daniels, a darling little consignment shop in the 'hood that has AWESOME stuff. I picked up a couple things for the house (I'll post pictures later).

And found this:

Oh sweet Jesus, that would look AMAZING in my dining room, entry OR living room. It's sooo gorgeous. At a sturdy 9 1/4 feet tall - it's simply beautiful. From Holland and just lovely. I can't even tell my husband about it. I can already hear his response, "Go shake the money tree out back." A girl can dream, right?!

Thanks! However with a $5K price tag, there is NO way it can be mine. :(

I have never heard of this place. I need to hang with you more often. You know where everything is! Just "suggest" to hubby that this certain piece of furniture would serve as a really nice 1st anniversary present. Isn't paper for the first anniversary? I mean, think about it, paper is made from wood and this piece of furniture is made from wood. I totally can make the connection between the two. ????? :-)

You are too funny Carrie! The only problem is - I don't really need it. We have a nice antique, big (7 ft) armoir already. If it were a china cabinent, then I would ask for it. I'm on the hunt for one of those, so let me know if you have any good places to shop for them.

HONEY, it isn't EVER about "need". ;-) Kansas City.....State Street.

OK. *breathe*
This HAS to find its way into your home!
Talk them down, girl!! Who makes it? Our armoire retailed for 22,000. Can you imagine? My husband got it for us for 9,000 and it is Henredon... nobody ever budges with that brand. We needed a massive armoire for our great room just to fill the sheer size. That is why it was so much $$$.

Also, check out Hooker Furniture and Pulaski. You can find something similar for a better price. :)

Thanks for the other furniture brands. I will check them out. It might be Henrendon - the seller said it retailed for $20K! (I can't imagine spending THAT much on a piece of furniture!)
